A series of releases featuring multi-artist tributes to the icons of rock! The first was JEM Records Celebrates John Lennon, released in honor his 80th Birthday (October 9th, 2020). It provides music lovers with an inventive take on the work of John Lennon, ranging from his early Beatles days through his final recordings in 1980. The second in the series is JEM Records Celebrates Brian Wilson, which "delivers a solid rocking swag of well-crafted interpretations of Brian's music heavily dripping with the 60s influenced jangly guitar and garage rock vibe, representative of JEM's 'sound'" (Endless Summer Quarterly). Third was JEM Records Celebrates Pete Townshend, a veritable m "Who's Who" of JEM artists providing 'Meaty, Beaty, Big and Bouncy' interpretations of classic Who cuts. JEM Records Celebrates Ray Davies followed, presenting loving renditions of 13 'Kinks Klassics' - some of the most enduring pop music from England, or anywhere. On JEM Records Celebrates Jagger & Richards, the JEM stable of artists have given a baker’s dozen worth of Stones classics and deep cuts a fresh coat of sonic paint, paying homage to the songwriting genius of Mick and Keith while simultaneously giving their songs a swift little boot in the ass. JEM Records Celebrates David Bowie find the stable of artists 'Zig-gy' and zagging through the Thin White Duke's 'ch-ch-changes' while somehow making them their own.
